The computer does have a PCIE x16 slot, and im hoping get a Nvidia card under $200 and I assume I will have to pick up a new PSU as well (it currently is 300w). Is there anything else in particular that I need to be aware of?

The graphics are integrated although: AMD A10-6700 APU w/ Radeon 8670D
And the motherboard: AMD A75

Will this be a problem?

As long as it is a good 300 watt power supply you should be able to get something like a GTX 750 or 750 ti.

It does not even need extra power.
