Hello people! I hope to write in the right section , first of all let me say that I always follow and that this forum has always been very useful to me , I hope it will be this time too !
P.s. Sorry for my bad English

Foreword : I have just moved to Canada and I just got the pc fixed by ' Italy , the package very battered from the trip ... while I 'll completed the complaint and I will reimburse for the damage ( insured parcel ) will spend months and months , but I'm a graphic designer and I have a job very soon and I cannot wait! then I need your help!

Problem: Once I have mounted the pc I try to turn it on right away and this shows no signs of life .. I open it , I notice that some of the power supply cable is disconnected , reconnect everything, power back up , leaving the case open and see that despite the power light does not turns on and do not hear any beeps , a sign of life here : the fans start for a split second and then immediately stop, ( all fans : power supply, CPU , video card ) and continue to do so to ' infinity ...
P.S. Another sign of life : the video card led light up and remain lit ..

Proven Solutions Tried: I understand that in Italy the electrical voltage is different: 220v, vs 110v here , then I rush to search for a transformer , and I buy one spending about $ 80 , this : https://www.voltageconverters.ca / p -3 ... ansformer.aspx
Excited I get home, I mount it , turn on the PC and still have the same damn problem .. then I thought it was a question of ' power , partly because I notice a slight dent on it (new corsair TX750M ) I try doing the test paperclip between the fourth and fifth pin , and the power supply works , the fan comes on and runs continuously ..

Questions: Now I just can not understand what could be the problem .. I suppose the motherboard ? unplugging everything and plugging only the 24-pin , there is always the problem .. It may be broken for the hit taken during the trip ? I can try some other solution / test to be sure it is the motherboard so I'll buy another one? resetting the bios will not change anything right? How much should I spend more? THANK YOU SO MUCH !

Useful info : Windows 7 Video Card : AMD Radeon 7970 , i5 processor , power supply corsair TX750M , pc original model : packard bell ixtreme i6529it

If you want more info ask as well .. if I do not answer right away is because here there are 9 hour time difference ! hello and thanks in advance !

honestly with a "damaged" package involving a pc, there are SO many things that could have been damaged. The most likely is the motherboard, the next likely is the gpu, and the third likely is the psu
least likely are solid state hard drives, the cpu itself, or the optical drive

nothing you can really do besides trial and error work. make sure the 8 pin and the 24 pin for your motherboard are completely plugged in, and try taking your gpu out of the system completely to see if that works
