HD Capture Card, which choice is right for me? (PC)

Question being which HD capture card is the right choice for me? i've asked around. (example. Twitch.tv streamers) simply, i would like to narrow down my options and get the perfect fit for my needs.

*My objective: stream on Twitch.tv & record gameplay and instructional videos for use on youtube etc..
I've looked at Elgato and livegamer HD capture cards but i feel i do not have enough information to make the correct choice. I would like to stream&record video (1080p) using 2 PC setup (photo above) Simply what are viable options for this streaming setup, specifically what brand(s) HD capture card.
*Here are my specs
(PC:1)- (gaming)
Motherboard: Z87X-UD5H
Processor : Intel Core i5-4670 CPU@3.4 GHz (4CPUs)
Memory : 8192MB RAM
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 (4095 memory)

(PC2)-(video monitoring&recording)
Motherboard: Studio XPS 8100
Processor : Intel Core i7 CPU 870 @2.93GHZ (8CPUs)
Memory : 8192MB RAM
GPU : ATI RADEON HD 5700 Series approx(4095 memory)

** any other tips on the physical setup of the hardware& configuration is welcome (i.e. positioning)

For the GTX770 setup, I recommend trying NVidia's Shadowplay if you haven't.

The quality of Shadowplay is great, supports 1080p (30 or 60FPS), Twitch, and Desktop recording.

Shadowplay uses the H.264 encoder already on your GTX770 card so it's free, and the performance hit is roughly 5%.

I recorded the Sleeping Dogs benchmark, played it back, and it looked identical to me. There are probably some colour differences but I was blown away.
