Running Win 7 64X on apple machine with bootcamp. The apple driver applemnt.sys is BSODing my windows unless I boot into safe mode. The solution I believe is to rename or delete the above file.
BUT I can't!!
I am admin, i have tried creating a a new admin user, I have used the hidden admin account. I have taken ownership of the file and folder and I have full permissions on the folder. Access denied!
The installation wont boot into Hiren's so cant delete from linux and I cant access the windows disk from osx (greyed out).

How to delete this file or rename?!!

Thanks a million!!

Something similar happens to me every once in a while - albeit typically with media filesthat suddenly turn immortal, go figure. The (low-tech, but useful) workaround I use is to move the annoying file to a different folder and delete it from there.
