It has a pci-e 2.0 i think not a pci=e 3.0. But yes that will still work.

Yes it will still work it shudnt be a problem at all , backwards-compatibility works with PCIe generations.
Graphic cards in general are not even able to saturate the 8X speed of a PCIe slot in general terms ! (LinusTechTips)
So yeah the OP should be pretty much able to make it work with the rest of his build.
