Hi,

I earlier bought the GTX 770 4 GB card. It's amazing, however, I have noticed things tend to lag when starting videos and sometimes in the middle of watching them. I am quite certain this shouldn't happen since the card is relatively fast.
I tested on different sites, but the result is the same. Is this a GPU problem, in that case, does anyone know of a solution? It's really annoying to try and watch something when it isn't playing smoothly.

Solution
OC the ram to 1600Mhz/1866MHz, your PC configuration will have performance benefits at that speed over your current (both 1600/1866 have a CL of 9).

As for the problem, it sounds like a stability issue with your GPU and the rest of your system. I can only really suggest one thing, if you can return your GTX 770 4GB then do it, you may find much better performance with the R9 280X as then you'll have an all AMD system (tends to work better). If that doesn't work then that'll point it at your CPU or motherboard.

I've had a few cards on this PC, but they were really basic. :/ They had issues with simple tasks.
The HDDs are probably the oldest parts of the computer.
Tho the CPU is so damaged we had to bend the sticks right again to get it back in after removing it the last time.

The thing is tho that these videos are on the internet so they shouldn't be so reliant on the HDD tho right?
I mean, I can play games like StarCraft 2 and Battlefield 4 on highest quality with much issue.

Can't really test it because one of the HDDs (the G drive) is almost completely broken, it was a wonder we were able to connect it to the computer.

The motherboard is an ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX.

The RAM is
Corsair Classic XMS 32GB DDR3 PC-10666 1333MHz CL9 (CMX32GX3M4A1333C9) (4x8GB)

Well, the G drive... You know the little plastic thing that should keep the SATA in place? Well, it decided to break when I moved the computer and the computer went through a lot of shaking. So we had issues with it disconnecting because of it, but we found a good angle that worked and after closing the lid it stuck in place.
