Guys, currently I have an amd fx 6100 along with NVIDIA GTX 650 (non ti) graphics card.
Motherboard: Gigabyte 78-LMT-S2PT

I am planning to uprade my graphics card to GTX 760 (the Zotac one if at all it matters) cause I am gettting a very good deal on that card.

My concern is that will my PROCESSOR BOTTLENECK THE GTX 760??? If yes, shall I upgrade to fx 8350(cause they have the same socket), and morever shall I have to upgrade something else also along with the processor uprade( like motherboard or something like that)

Thanks in advance... :)

What games do you play? The FX-8350 has the highest sinlge threaded performance in the whole FX series except for 9370, 9590 and the FX-4350, so in badly multithreaded games it will show an advantage over the FX-6100. But in that case an Intel i core processor will fare much better than any of the AMD FX offerings. In well multithreaded games you will notice a good boost in performance as well. What is your current motherboard? You should make sure it supports the FX-8350 since it has a high TDP (advertised as 125 W but it is actually 140 w) and not all the AM3+ socket board can handle it.
Edit: I have just noticed your motherboard model and I don't think it can handle the FX-8350.

Personally I'd get the graphics card and try it. If the CPU is slowing things down too much- then you can always try over clocking the 6100 (all FX chips are unlocked)- all you'd need for that is a decent air cooler. If you still need more speed then upgrading to something like the FX 8350 is a good idea (although imo the 8320 is a much better deal as you can over clock it easily to the speed of the 8350 and other than a small difference in clock speed they are identical).

In my experience *at full resolution with high settings* there's very little difference between a modern mid or high end cpu in games (as 9 times out of 10 the graphics card is the bottle neck). So if you're running at 1920 x 1080 on high settings I think you'll be fine with the 6100. The fx looks bad in cpu benchmarks- but usually these are run at very low resolution to push the cpu- and when the frame rates are in the high hundreds it makes little difference anyway.

The one time the cpu really can be a problem is in very large scale multi player titles (like some of the big mmo's) where the game hasn't been coded to use threads properly. I think I remember that Star Wars On Line is a case where in some regions you might find the 6100 holds you back.
