I don't really care about performance as much as i care about reliability, I'm not getting a seagate (bad experience with their products), so it's basically between transcend and western digital. My files are already backed up in the cloud but i also want to access them quickly. Thanks!

My wife has used a western digital 1.5 tb daily for years. Never had an issue. No experience with transcend!
