Help needed :(

Hi, all i'm in the market for a new gaming rig.

But i'm using a Corsair 250D as the case.
What do you guys think? I'm not sure whether i'm going to be able to afford it yet, but hopefully I can. The problem is that all the parts (including monitor and keyboard+mouse) minus the motherboard come in at 533 pounds (VAT off through buisness). But what would a substitute motherboard be?
Another question is, wheres the cheapest place to buy the operating system? And how much will the prices drop by christmas?

Don't plan a computer now to buy at Christmas. Everything will have changed by then. Usually only plan a build 1-2 weeks in advance.

Windows will cost you between $90-$100. There isn't really any price fluctuation or anything on that.

Yeah, I would come back 1-2 weeks before you order. Tons of things will change by then and prices will fluctuate ALOT.

Its fine. Its a good mini ITX case.

For the same money, if you went mATX, you could get alot more system. mITX build are pricey.

You could build a better gaming computer for the same price if you don't have to have it be mITX.

I was thinking ITX due to its size really, how much bigger is mATX?

mATX is not much larger, and it would allow you to use a less expensive motherboard/ case, so you can get a better GPU.

What CPU will you be using? The i3 with plans to upgrade to an i5?

You do not need an i7 a tall for gaming. An i5 is what you want.

Get a b85 mATX motherboard.

I guess if you have to have a mini ITX system, but I thought the point was to save money and get a better computer.
