Workstation GPU, temporary solutions, help me decide please.

Since no one replied, i want to renew my question...

Can i use a quadro 600 as a temporary 3d card? i will use dual displays @ 1080p for 3dsmax architectural visualizations...

You might say to go with k600 which is newer; while i agree on that... i have not found any info to justify extra 200$ for a temporary card...

It seems that quadro 600 and quadro k600 are identical cards... I am still not sure but the quadro 600 that i had to blindly buy is recognized as k600 so they are basically the same?

well the problem is my dissatisfaction with a gtx 680 4gb card on CAD modeling and heading for a pro card. I would dump the gtx 680 for a quadro k600 untill i get a k2000...


turns out, the quadro 600 is performing 30% worse than a gtx 680 4gb in 3dsmax 2014 nitrous dx11 mode... In open GL, it is alot worse...

No! my friend, i did not have a k600 until today :) and it is worse than my gtx 680 in 3dsmax viewport "despite" the articles i have read about...
