My wife loved a game, about the time of Windows 98 or a little later. You would move different colored blocks to form 3 or more, they disappear and move down until you had gotten them all matched. There were small animal symbols sitting on top of the blocks. Pretty simple, stupid game but she loved it and we can't remember what it was called.

Don't know the name of this particular one, but that's pretty much every Yahoo and Facebook game, you match flashing things to other similar flashing things and they pop.
