Hey every body, I'm wanting to triple boot OSX Windows and Linux ... As I'm switching between windows and Linux a lot, and like a lot of the software mac has to offer, my question is , and have a menu when I boot up displaying 3 OS's and let's me choose which to boot into, using this setup , can I do this ... And how, in a simplistic way, my windows understanding is good, but the others not so much

My setup is

CPU - AMD FX 6300 6 core @ 3.5GHz
RAM - 16gb DDR3 @ 1333mhz
GPU - NVIDIA GEFORCE GTS 450
HDD - 500gb Sata II 200gb Sata II
WLAN - d link rangebooster 650a
DISPLAY - 2 x 22" 1080p monitors

Thank you!

unlike PCz BIOS phoenix, ami, etc OSX has EFI
refit r "EFI" t or re-fit is invaluable when using more than one operating system with OSX
and yes you should use a partition big enough to share windows and linux created by bootcamp to create your windows partition and then when you see BOOTCAMP in the Windows 7 setup; format and install windows 7 on that partition
then
use ubuntu's dual boot system from windows after installing bootcamp drivers
p.s.
nothing will install and work from OSX without the EFI chip
Well it is I think it really depends on how it is installed. I paid for OS X but even at that it is not allowed according to the EULA. The only way I will even try to install it is when it is paid for otherwise it is still pirating no matter how you look at it and will not help any one install it that way.

What are you even on about? Windows has never been illegal in any shape or form.

@OP : I've heard that ASUS and Intel hardware work well in "Hackintosh" machines. That said I would imagine that your machine would be fairly crippled by Mac OSX in terms of power. You would struggle mostly in the drivers department since Mac's in general are pretty latent on specialized hardware support.

Speaking of legalities I'm not sure there are any pay phones left to blue box with let alone need a computer that operates at 2.6GHz and is named 2600...

last I checked EFI chips only ran with intel dual core dual 2.6GHz making intel the only possible Hackintosh.

http://www.cclonline.com/product/55411/P1-450S-XXB9/Power-Supplies/XFX-Pro-450W-Power-Supply-Unit-Core-Edition-/PSU0202/ this psu

and money isnt an issue so i will be keeping the ram, i do a lot of music rendering and video rendering, and gather the ram is good to have

and i was thinking of overclocking, but id surely need a stronger psu, and a better motherboard right?
