I have a cable modem, single router and would like to setup four wireless (individual) networks. I need one for normal use (internet via pc's), one for streeming (netfilix, music), one for wireless security, and one for data streaming (ftp/sftp - this is new also). How can this be done. My objective is to isolate the security from all others "wireless-security cams", and likewise for other streaming use.

Also, I use cross platform OS's (Linux, Mac, Window) if this is needed. Multi devices are connected at once and from time to time I am concerned that one of the other are consuming to much from what I feel is most important, wireless security. Any help is appreciated.

Need,
I think you may be asking for too much from your router. Did you want to buy one more and ask less?

Regardless of how many 'networks' or router, remember that it is all going through the same pipe.

I'm not getting the need for individual 'networks'.

Several devices (some of them cameras?), all connected to the same router. OK...that is quite common. I have about a dozen or so.
PC 1 used for general browsing, PC 2 for netflix, PC 3 for ftp.....they don't 'interfere' with each other, other than using the same pipe to the outside world. The router passes data to each as it needs.

Some routers have a QoS function, whereby you can give priority to certain devices or protocols. I don't have a recommendation for one cause I've never needed one that does that.

'Wireless security' is completely dependent on what protocol you use, and a strong password.
