i'd assemble my new gaming rig last friday and i gave my recent PC to my younger sister
its CPU is only an AMD Athlon II X2 250 w/ 8GB of ram and a Power color HD7950,

my lil' sister says she can't play COD ghosts properly in max settings..
she say she'd expiriencing an every second frame droping
but lowering the graphics will sold the problem..

its bottlenecking so i need to change her PC's CPU.. what is the best CPU
should i buy ? AMD FX 6300 or an Intel Core i3 ?

help me to decide guys i don't know how to look for CPUs,
thanks in advance and sorry for my english :p

+1 for this ^

An i3 is still decent, but in multithreaded games I'd go with the FX 6300.

Make sure you have at least a good 970 series board and cooler and you should be able to easily push 4.4-4.5GHz on the FX 6300. This would be able to drive pretty much any single high end GPU.

If your RAM is DDR3 1600 that will also work well with the new board and CPU.

As long as your motherboard is compatible with AM3+ CPUs, I'd get at least the FX 6300 (depending on price, maybe even the FX-8320). She'll definitely see an improvement.

Intel isn't an option unless you also want to replace the motherboard as well.
