I have win 7 home premium 64 bit SP1 and want to use it to install win 7 HP 32 bit on a pc - Questions:
1-is this able to be done ?
2-if the 64 bit version was installed and activated, can I wipe the drive and re-install as 32 bit win 7 or did I just create the older pc for a future Linux machine (OK by me) ?
3-if I decide to wipe the HD and wish to install the win 7 64 bit on a new bare bone (TBD), can I get the license moved over ?
Any info appreciated

0. why do you want to?
1. yes
2. a key can only be used for either 64 or 32, you may have to phone for authorisation, but it can be done
3. if it is an oem license then technically no, practically if you phone through the authorisation you'll generally get accepted although it is not 100% guaranteed.

1 license, 1 PC. You can't install that particular license on another PC, be it 64 or 32bit.
