Logging onto a domain

Hi i was just wondering about domain controllers and i just wanted to know what the normal time does it take for a clients computer to log onto a domain. My server is 08 r2 X64 bit i timed it and it only took 3 minutes and 4 seconds to log in. Is this to slow for joining a computer to a domain? Thank you.

what i meant to say is the time it's joined the domain and computer restarts and loads the setting and i can log in once that happens. How long does it normally take to log into a domain controller?

I'm assuming that you have the admin right.
- Is the client desktop image from another desktop?
- Is the desktop logging to the domain the first time (roaming profile)?
- Once you logged in, check with start ups process (msconfig or ccleaner).
