I have a 3 years old Dell laptop with dual core Intel Pentium processor, with integrated HD 3000 video chip. I installed a 64 bit win 8.1 OS, with no error. After that the system started and I could log in. But the screen resolution wasn't good horizontaly. After 1-2 minutes the screen became black. (And I heard a sign.) The laptop's HDMI out works properly, with good resolution. I tried...:
to upgrade (up to date)
to download and install Intel's driver
to download and install dell's driver
to disable fast turn off
And nothing was happened. Than I removed the original driver, and enable the basic driver. After that the laptop screen worked for an hour (with bad resolution), but than the screen became blank again.
What can I do?
