Replacing my TWC modem.

What should I get? TWC now leases their modem for $5.99 per month. And their customer service just told me to ask someone at BestBuy what to get. I'd prefer a better answer than that.

Look on TW's site and see which ones are on their approved list. Get one of those.
And do NOT listen to the clowns at WorstBuy. Ever.

Thanks. Would have been nice if the TWC customer service rep I talked to could have told me that.

The reason I say that is....most cable modems would work. But if you have one not on their 'list', and there is an issue....they will either 1. blame that modem, or 2. not help because the helpdesk guy does not have the right script.

Check eBay for a cheap refurb. I would stick with the same model You have, if it's cheap.

After You plug it in, call TWC and explain. They have to program it.

Finally, return the old one and get a receipt.
