Hi I am thinking of creating a water cooling loop for my current system. And would love to get some feedback on my possible specs for the loop. I will first focus on fans and radiators.

System:
CPU: i7-4770K 3.5 GHZ
Mobo Maximus VI Formula
RAM: 32G RipJaw Z PC PC3 2400
GPU: Asus 780 OC, Asus 780 Poseidon SLI
SSD: Samsung Evo 1T
PSU: Corsair AX 1200i
Monitor: 3 X VS 239, 2 X VS 278, 1 X VG248
CaseLab sand painted in bright orange haven't decided on model yet.

Components to be cooled and their TDP
CPU: i7-4770 3.5 GHZ - 84W @ 3.9GHZ
Mobo Maximus VI Formula Chipset TDP ?? Estimate 60W
GPU: Asus 780 OC, 302
Asus 780 Poseidon SLI 350

Total TDP 796

Okay I am stuck here, so how many rads and fans do I need.

Am thinking of 2 X Quad 120mm and 1 X triple 140mm

Radiator choices:

Quad:
Alphacool ST 30 full copper 480
Alpha cool XT 45 full copper 480
EK Coolstream XT 480

Triple
Alphacool ST 30 full copper 360
Alpha cool XT 45 full copper 360
EK Coolstream XT 360

Fan Choices:

Definitely Cougar because of color and relatively good performance but there are so many styles to choose from anyone have recommendations for radiator fans?

I am thinking of the following models but really need help to see what is best for my Rads. Would like to have low speed low noise if possible.

Turbine Series
14 12
speed 1000 1200
noise 17.9 17.7
pressure 1.18 1.73

CFD Series
speed 1000 1200
noise 18 16.6
pressure 1.4 1.74

PWM Series (4 pin)
speed 600-1200 800-1500
noise 19.2 17.9
pressure 2.2 1.38

HDP Series
speed 1200 1200
noise 19.2 16.4
pressure 1.38 1.73

Vortex Series
speed 1000 1200
noise 17.9 17.7
pressure 1.18 1.73

Solution

Well, fans will always be fans, theres no really big differences between them. It's really based on preference, I currently use all corsair af and sp fans in my system. If you like the aesthetics of the courgars over the corsairs, then by all means go with it. When it comes to fans, if their specs are almost the same than there isn't really a reason to go with one over another. As for the rads, I would go with alphacool XTs.
