I have 1TB sized HDD in my laptop. When I tried converting the disk type from dynamic to basic, it produces an error stating it's not possible due to all the boot data being present on the drive I want to change. What is the solution to the problem?
Use disk manager to remove the volume, then recreate it as basic. Make sure you have a good (tested) backup as this is fatal to all data on the volume.

I tried, but to no avail. The delete volume option is inaccessible and I can't delete it from any other software either.
