CPU core problem

My computer has a 6-core CPU, the AMD 6100. Now, I know that windows task manager should say that this is actually 3 cores, 6 logical processors, which should be correct. Actually, it says 1 core, and 2 logical processors. I noticed this recently, and in the past it has said the before mentioned 3-6 combo. Is this a BIOS problem? I'm wondering why my CPU is not being used to its full potential. Is there any way I can test if all cores are working? I'd really like to know why this is happening...

Solution
You can reset your bios settings by clearing cmos. Just remove the battery for 1min (cpu is off) and start back up. You can go into bios and return default settings as well. Please update us! Hope that works then! Also consider updating to the latest bios.

Oh. You might want to know some more...
I have a windows 8.1 computer with these (simple) specs:
AMD 6100 CPU @ 4.2 Ghz
BIOSTAR TA970 motherboard
Corsair CX 430 M
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU fan
AMD (Why can't I remember this!?) HD7850 GPU
Some generic DVD writer combo disk drive
2 Hard drives- a 1T backup HDD and a 750 GB HDD SDD combo

Here's a copy and paste answer I gave to someone else just the other day:

winkey+r, type in "msconfig" and hit enter, click the boot tab, click advanced options, make sure Number of Processors is unchecked. Click ok, then click apply, exit and restart.

Once restarted all 4 of your cores should be enabled and will show up on programs like real temp like this:

Hope this helps you out as well!

I am sorry to say that this solution didn't work. I believe it's either a BIOS thing, or a problem with the cores themselves. Is there any way I can do a test of all the cores on my computer?

I do have the latest BIOS, and it's a bit harder than that to reset my BIOS. I have a jumper, and this jumper is under my GPU. I'll get back to you as soon as I get to doing this.

Well... Currently overclocking is happening through AMD CPU Overdrive. It's probably not the best way, but it works. Can you tell me how I can overclock in the BIOS? I have a BIOSTAR TA970.

I noticed in the first video you gave me that the guy's BIOS is very graphical in the way that it has those tabs and everything. Is this specific to that motherboard, or can I get that?

Okay... Overclocking over here now, In HWMonitor, should temperatures for the Motherboard TMPIN2 sensor be hitting over 60 degrees C during Prime95 Stress test, at 3.8 GHz CPU Speeds? All my other temps are fine, this one is just bothering me a little bit.
