How to get full 144hz on asus monitor?

Since im getting a ASUS VG248QE i was wondering what cable i should get? displayport? or dvi d?

Use the one that comes with the monitor (dual link DVI-D), but if it has a displayport, that would work too, but don't buy a cable since it comes with one.
