Hello, I Put together a computer (first timer) with the help of a couple of friends I work with. I connected everything, and attempted to boot up, I got no output to my HDMI output. I tired HDMI, from the graphic card and from the mother board, no screen. It took removing the graphic card, and connecting VCI and HDMI to get a picture. I loaded windows and did some setting up and went back to trying to get my graphic card working. I tried to load the software from EVGA.com and NVidia.com and they would not load the drivers because it could not find the hardware. I have tried to go into BIOS and set the PCI-E as the main output for the graphics but it will not save. (I have tried saving and not letting it reset... plugging in the card and trying again.)

I get no screen, black no loading nothing. I really don't know where to go from here due to my inexperience. Everything else works in my build (aside from my second hard drive, that I will worry about later)

When I start with the graphic card installed, I get the disply A2 which according to the manual is IDE detect.

Without the card I get AE on the display which is Legacy boot event (which I have no idea what that means)

Pardon my NFG status and thank you for your help in advance.

-Jeff

Ok so it works fine with the 770 out but won't post with it in. Either the card is bad or the PSU can't power it properly. CAn you try the card in another system? Can you try a different card in this system?
