I just purchased a Asus R9 270X card to replace my HD7770 card. This card requires two 6 pin power connectors. I can connect my previous connector from the HD7770 but the cable i got with the new card is for a modular. i do not have a modular close enough to attach? Any suggestions on how to solve this without having to rewire. even if a got an extender it still wouldnt reach. can i get a cable to connect it straight from the PSU 8 pin PCI connector to the card or will this blow up the card?
