DBAN USB wiping strange problem

Hello, I was using DBAN on a 8gb USB drive. I wanted to wipe Windows and reinstall it (OEM). I used the autonuke feature which automatically detects what to wipe. I was told to remove usb before it's detected. Unfortuanly, I believe I was too late and I pulled out the usb too late while autonuke began doing the passes. When I did this, DBAN had a slight black screen go over it with different words/numbers and froze. I thought I must've messed something up, so I rebooted but my hardrive and usb were not detected.

I put in my Windows OEM disc and it detected my hardrive and it claimed it was 0/1TB full (not exactly but an empty harddrive).
I assumed this must have been a mistake and proceeded to install windows to see what would happen. It installed fine, and I downloaded all the drivers, correctly. I'm a bit concerned because usually DBAN takes a couple hours to wipe and the pass was probably only 3 seconds in. Is my data truly wiped? I'm a bit baffled honestly. Should I attempt to wipe it again even after successfully installing windows?

Why is it saying I have all that free space then? Also could you clue me in on a/how to format? I was being careful because I got a pesky virus that I couldn't get rid of, so I gave up and wanted to start fresh and not deal with the headache. In windows it says I have 890 gigs available. I don't want to install too much else if I should format
