I have an android galaxy s3 mini, and I am using an hp desktop running kali linux. I am trying to transfer music files over to the SD card on the phone, but I can only access the internal storage on the device. I tried installing gMTP but I always get an error saying I have no dependencies.

root@unknown:~# apt-get install gmtp

You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
clementine : Depends: libgpod4 (>= 0.6.0) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: liblastfm0 (>= 0.4.0~git20090710) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libprotobuf7 but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libqca2 (>= 2.0.2) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libqjson0 (>= 0.7.1) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libprojectm-data but it is not installable or
projectm-data but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libqca2-plugin-ossl but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

I tried apt-get -f install gmtp and got the same result, what can I do? I'm not sure how to get the dependencies....

Kali is a four letter word here so be sure not to ask any questions about using it for cracking.

you added gmtp and should not have.

Are you sure your phone doesn't have a setting for connecting the sd card via USB? I know my LG requires me to specifically authorise a USB connection to the memory.
