I've settled for a pretty good 850w for my build. However, I'm not sure if this is sufficient.

Here's my build: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/3pKR4

I'm planning to overclock moderately-highly on my CPU, so should I step up to 1000w?

Any other constructive criticism on my build will be highly appreciated.

Thanks guys, and take care

You'll be fine. I plugged all the components into a Wattage calculator and you'll use ~470W. A ~520W is recommended (I included a 4.5ghz OC on the CPU).

As far as your build goes, everything is high end. Nothing in my eyes you need to change.

Wow, that's a pretty high end build you've got there. There's a bunch of 'premium' components which push the price up substantially but won't actually improve performance at all. You could save a whole heap of cash and still get the same performance. A few suggestions:
- Saves $110: MB to an ASRock Extreme 4 (ASRock Z87 Extreme4) http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=138_1491&products_id=23627
- Saves $60: SSD to an EVO instead of Pro (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=210_902_1370&products_id=24742)
- Saves $10 (and is faster), RAM to GSkill 2133 (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=186_912&products_id=27056)
- Saves $105, PSU to Corsair RM850 (http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15_354&products_id=25691) (you do lose corsair link going this route, don't know if that matters to you)
- Saves $84, ditch the sound card. Unless you're an audiophile with premium speakers, you can't notice the difference IMHO.
- You could drop to a cheaper cooler too (especially if you don't want the corsair link features)

Same performance, $100s saved.

IMHO, you'd be much better ditching that keyboard and either going a standard dome keyboard, or stepping up to a mechanical keyboard, (something like the Corsair K70, http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=113_1302&products_id=23701). I personally hate laptop style chiclet keys for typing or gaming. That's totally personal preference though. Go with what you like.

There's nothing wrong with you build if you want the best... it's just that you can get the same performance for a lot less money!
