Who is your email provider (i.e. gmail.com, outlook.com, etc.)? That is who you need to contact for help.

You can only recover a lost password from gmail. There are no cracks that you could you unless you were a master hacker with access to a supercomputer and they all work for the NSA.

Unless, did you log in automatically and can you login now and you just want to know the password?

Did you give a phone number to gmail? They'd sms a code to you to allow you to change the password.

There are a few different ways to regain access to a Google Account. Make sure that you investigate all of them. If you've not provided an alternate email address or a phone number you may be out of luck though.

I very, very highly recommend that you avoid reusing your password for everything (ideally you wouldn't reuse it at all). If one service is compromised and someone manages to get access to your password then all of your services are compromised. In your case, someone need only find your piece of paper.
