CPU the reason of FPS drops?

Hello so a few days ago I purchased the MSI GeForce GTX760 2GB and installed it and the drivers with no problems. All was well and was hoping to see improvements in FPS or just no drops like I was having before with my old graphics card.

But I'm still getting frequent drops in multiple games like Battlefield, League of Legends and other FPS games. My current processor is an AMD FX series Vishera 6300.

Here is a screenshot of my task manager performances as SOON as i started to experience the FPS drops in League of Legends: http://imgur.com/U3UCR5o

And if it is my processor I would appreciate any recommendations for processors that would fit the motherboard on this computer: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883258067 (NOTE: THE PSU HAS BEEN SWITCHED OUT FROM THE ONE THAT IS LISTED IN THE LINK. I HAVE A ROSEWILL CAPSTONE SERIES 750W)

Thanks for any help.

I'm not certain if the framerate is dropping because of the CPU, but if it was, an FX-8350 would be the best option for your motherboard. It's pretty much a repackaged higher binned FX-8320 at a higher overclock, with potential to overclock even further if necessary.

My fix is to disable turbo core technology. What it is, is that it give more power to the cpu (raw power i.e. higher clock rate) when it's very intensive. So when you're playing it thinks at some points it doesnt need that much power for a second so it lowers it clock below the stock. that's when you get the cpu spikes on graph with mantle for me/ What i would do is disable it or either overclock it to a stable oc, then you should be good.

*****disclaimer*******
I'm not responsible if you oc your computer and you break it, YOUR respopnsible for it and you should have adequate knowledge when you oc it's not my fault nor the company.

Any idea on what cold be the cause of all of this? What other components could be crucial to gaming performance?

Yeah that's the thing.. I don't really have the adequate knowledge of all of this "over clocking" and stuff since I purchased the computer only a few months ago.

Sorry for the confusion, but I don't know what you mean by that. I have Windows 8 if you needed that info to guide me through this.
