RAM- need to increase performance.

I need to increase my RAM performance on my AMD system which has ZION 4GBx1 RAM having latency of 9-9-9-24@1600Mhz

What changes should I do such that I find a performance increase?

You can change the timings on the RAM, but why do you want to? There's very little performance to be gained by bumping RAM. 1600Mhz and 9 CAS is the normal for most PC's.

Get another 4 gig stick OR get 2x 2 Gig sticks. Also overclocking ram and timings make ALOT of heat so get lots of airflow or a ram cooler

Yeah I got enough airflow in my system.. I just want to lower the timings for better performance.. :/ I read about this that performance variation would be little but still I would like to change it.. What do you suggest?

Get more RAM it's not worth it to overclock

Use two sticks instead of one. You get dual channel memory bandwidth. The gains from doing this will be huge compared to a timing tightening.
