Hi all,

I would like to ask for advice on building my first custom PC and whether if the parts compactible with each other.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4440 3.1Ghz - Cache 6MB [Box] Socket LGA 1150 - Haswell Series

MOBO: ASUS B85 Pro Gamer (LGA1150, Intel B85, DDR3

HDD: Samsung SSD 840 EVO 120GB

HDD2:WDC 1TB SATA3 64MB - Caviar Blue - WD10EZEX

RAM:Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Pro Gold PC12800 8GB (2X4GB) - CMY8GX3M2A1600C9A

GPU: Zotac Geforce GTX 760 2048MB DDR5 AMP !

CASE:Corsair Carbide 400R

PSU:Seasonic G-650 650W Modular - Gold - 5 Years

CPU Coller: Corsair Hydro Series H100i Water Cooler

Solution
Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo, will be more than enough for i5 4440. It is only $16 i believe. Why spend $100 just on looks and tidiness, there is no point in doing that. Better use $100 difference to get GTX 770, that will be much better.

I am thinking on liquid cooling just for it's tidiness and no dust on the normal cpu cooler heat sink or fan. But please advice me on what cooler should i get?

Thanks

Thank you for the solution. I am gonna use the extra bucks for Zotac GTX 770 AMP! and hyper 212 for the cpu cooler. Or do you recommend 120M seidon?

Thanks

As i said, your CPU will be cool enough even with the stock cooler. Why messing around with liquid cooling and pump problems, while you can have simple air cooler. Also the Hyper 212Evo has the best price/performance ratio for air coolers. There is cheaper GTX 770 than the Zotac one

Hi maurelie,

The MSI GTX 770 twin froz is more expensive $40 than the zotac 770 AMP in Indonesia. I will go for the Hyper 212Evo for cpu cooler.

I would like to ask regarding the case and PSU.

Reason i choose 400R is for the 240mm liquid cooling radiator, since i change to air cooler. Should i get 400R or NZXT source 210 Elite or CM enforcer?

For the PSU, i read somewhere that zotac 770AMP need at least 600W PSU. However i used the pcpartpicker site, the estimated wattage was just around 430W

Please kindly need your advice

Thanks

If you can find, get Corsair's 200R or 300R. As for total system power output, the SeaSonic 650W will be more than enough, even high quality 500W PSU will do the job

Most of the PC shop here ran out of the seasonic 650W gold modular, they advice me to Seasonic M211-650W Modular bronze. Or should i go for Cooler Master RM series?

Thanks
