hi, i build a new pc (specks below), by when I'm in bios, i go into advanced, storage configuration, and sata0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 are all not detected. does this mean my hard drive and ssd are all not detected; when i go to install windows 8.1, after putting in my code, it says no driver found. if you could help me with both it would be great!

pc specs: corsair 250d, i5 4670k, h75, xfx r9 280x, asrock h87e-itx/ac, 8gb 1600 rip jaws, 120gb kingston ssd, 1tb green wd, evga nexos 750w psu.

Solution
You are not able to install Windows into your system hence your drives are still not detected in your system BIOS. Be sure to check your connections, if the SATA cables/connectors are properly fit in to the ports on your motherboard and to the HDD/SSD devices. Same also applies to the respective power connectors of each device.
