I am just buying a new laptop and in the spec it says 4GB Ram then lower down list Maximum amount of memory 8GB so aim confus

you are bying a new laptop and the memory instaled is 4 gb if you want you can install up to 8gb later on.it does not come with 8 gb.i whould advise you to get a laptop with good cpu and graphics and mind ram for last and the hdd ram and hdd is swapable cpu and gpu not so easy and pricy.
