hi, so i recently downloaded SpeedFan software, whichh gave me a shock. it said my cpu is at 128degrees. it is a pentium g3220 running a t a non-overclocked 3ghz, on the stock heatsink.is this normal? do i need a better heatsink?, oh and the case is a silverstone tj06.

Solution
download coretemp just to get a second reading, most likely its a bad sensor or speedfan does not support the board/chip for some reason. @ 128*c your cpu would not last long or the bios would shut the computer down from overheating, (if setup in bios correct)

You can try and clean and reapply new thermal past and reseat the heatsink to see if that fixes anything but my guess is a bad temp reading by speedfan.
