Hello, I'm building a high-end PC, and I was wandering what would be a good PSU. Currently I choose a +80 Bronze 1000W PSU. Which was only about $90. I heard it's bad to get a PSU thats both high watt/low price in terms of efficiency.

Your estimated wattage requirement is just ~500W around.
Take a lower end power supply in terms of wattage.
Links :
It costs you more in fact double , but is 80+ platinum and really very good.
Corsair AX 860i
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A0HZNDW/ref=twister_B00A5STC1K
Another amazing power supply , also this costs you less :
XFX 850W
http://www.amazon.com/XFX-Single-Modular-Certified-P1850BBEFX/dp/B00B88Z0LM/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1397212825&sr=1-1&keywords=xfx+850w

When your taking such good components why save moey on the power supply

Never get a no-name psu that uses cheap components risk to damage your system even if it said 20,000watts never get it. this brand is much better.

Before I call this my build, Why ASUS? Are ASUS GPU's Better than EVGA? Or does it not matter at all?
