Hello There.

So i got my macbook pro about a year ago and iv'e liked it allot. Apart from the terrible 4GB ram however it's so damn heavy, weighs about 4.5 pounds. The air weighs about about 2.96 pounds.

Been thinking about doing a switch. From a pro mid 2012 500GB to a air mid 2012 128GB SSD,
It's is a little slower but wins on the SSD. And wins so much more on weight, The pro feels like a brick.

I'd use it for logic pro X, on set footage review. storing photo's/film on holiday with an external HDD drive. And a little bit of editing. Do you think the air would do good on those jobs?
Worth the switch? Fast but very portable/weight is very prioritized here.

Any help would be awesome
Cheers
Samuel

Should stick with the MacBook Pro 13. They are solid and reliable, whereas the MacBook Air has a slower CPU and is less repairable. You will get a lot more out of the MacBook Pro, especially with an SSD.
