Manual and website show PCI slots which are absent from the actual motherboard

Hello,

I have a Gigabyte 990FX-UD3 Revision 4 mobo. Great little beast, however the manual and site show that there is a PCI legacy slot but in reality there is none.

What in the false advertising...? Nor do I have 2 pci-ex mini slots, I only have one...

Dammit Gigabyte.

Are you certain that's the board you've got?

I don't see anywhere on the Gigabyte web site that the 990FXA-UD3 claims to have any mini pcie slots. I do see the claim for a pci slot, though. You say your board is 990FX-UD3. That is different from the 990FXA-UD3 that you linked to. Could it be that your board is micro ATX while the 990FXA-UD3 is ATX?

They don't make a 990FX-UD3, and there's no µATX 9xx chipset boards.

Sorry, forgot to add the "A" in the motherboard description.

Turns out my two video cards were simply blocking the PCI and 2x PCIEX slots that I thought were absent. Thanks for the help!
