i am on a fixed budget that wont allow me to add another 4gigs of ram...
should i really need 8 gb for fine gaming and other multitasking ?
if it is necessary i have to opt an i3 4130...
Please help me guys.. give ur suggestions.

The short answer is "Yes." Four GB of RAM is [still] enough for gaming. If you intend to multitask, particularly while gaming though, having 8GB will make a notable difference.

Yes. 4GB of memory is good enough for average gaming - given that you're using a 32-bit OS. However, some games require you to have 64-bit OS - using 8GB on that will have significant performance improvements.

4GB is fine. But if you can afford to get 8GB of memory - the better.

In my first build I "accidentely" bought a motherboard that could only support 4 gigs. It's enough for most things but it's a bit like 8 GB of storage on an ipod, it will quickly fill up and you'll have to upgrade ! As long as you can upgrade it's cool.

Hi ganesh ss,
windows 32bit will only support just over 3gb of ram anyway it is the limitation of the 32 bit system , so any more ram added will not be recognized by your os anyway, unless you upgrade to a 64bit os .
4gb will be the best you can do and that will be fine for most games
