I've had my pc hooked up to a 23" monitor with speakers hooked up to audio output on motherboard. I also run a tv through hdmi off my graphics card. GTX 770. I've kept current with graphics drivers including beta. The last beta was a few days ago, and no problems. But now, I go to watch a movie through either vlc or Netflix on the tv. And theres no option to have audio go through the tv. Even in control panel under sounds it shows the tv but for audio it says not connected. It worked lastnight and not a single thing has changed. Ive tried restarting tv and computer, ive disconnected and reconnected the hdmi cable, and ive uninstalled and reinstalled the graphics driver (both the new beta driver and the driver before that). Nothing seems to work. It pushes video without a problem, but audio still goes through the pc speakers, and if I disconnect those, I get no audio what so ever.

I don't know if this help at all. But I have the asus rog g750 with the 860m graphics card, with same beta drivers as the pc. I just plugged that into tv through hdmi, and audio gets pushed just like it was on the pc before this whole fiasco. So now I lost use of laptop, but I don't have spongebob blasting me in the face so kids can watch it on tv.
