My laptop hard disk crashed It was a 160 GB SATA hard disk from Weston Digital Model WD1600BEVT The new hard disk is from Hitachi Model ZFK500-320 The BIOS shows none in primary hard drive.
The change I note in the new hard disk is that it has 4 pins less (jumper pins)
