Hello tom's hardware community,

I desperately need some help right now. I just purchased a second-hand Asus GTX 560 earlier this morning. When I got home, I installed the gpu to my system and the gpu is working perfectly, so I installed the latest drivers, and played some games with it. After an hours of playing, I decided to shutdown the system and go outside to do some things, but when I got home and turn on my computer, I am now getting no display from my monitor. I've check the gpu if the fan is spinning and it does. I've reseated the connection of the gpu to the motherboard but still no luck. At some point, it will boot up to POST but after a while there will be no display again. I've tried to use the onboard display to see if something is messed up with my system but it booted without problem. Can someone help me with the problem? Thank you in advance!

Here is the full spec of my system:
CPU: Core i5 2400 @ 3.1Ghz
Mobo: ASRock H61m-VS3
RAM: Kingston ValueRam 8GB DDR3 (2x4GB) @ 1333Mhz
PSU: Cooler Master eXtreme 500w

Hello anonymous1,

Thank you very much for your response, I will try your suggestion later but I am not sure if it's really psu issues since I was able to use the card and play games with the current setup earlier before I shutdown the system. The weird thing is, sometimes when I restart the pc, it will boot up to POST and after a while the display will be off again, or sometimes the gpu fan will spin at full speed. BTW since my current psu only has 1 6-pin connector, I am using a molex-to-six pin connector. I don't know if that is the issue
