So i kept my pc on with a torrent and went to school.I was told that the pc had turned off once because the current in my house went away. That happens because my ups isnt charged. When i started the pc again i started facing all kinds of lags, scroll lag in windows and firefox, minimize and maximize lag when i open a window and of course lag in games.I have no idea how this happened.I have faced the current going and pc turning off like 50 times or even more but nothing happened then. Please guys i need help.My PC Specs

Intel Pentium G2030 @ 3GHz
2GB ram
Nvidia GeForce GT 630 2GB ddr3 driver version 337.50

and i dont know how to find out psu model and all

One of the risks of dealing with torrented files is that you may get more than you expected in your downloads. Have you performed full anti-virus and anti-malware scans of your system? If not, you should do so immediately.

To get the make/model info from the PSU, just look at the label affixed to the side of the PSU itself (open your case to access it).

yes i have done full anti virus scan with kaspersky but no threats detected.
my pc turned off because the current went away so could it have been that my gpu or motherboard got burnt or something....?

Might also do a Malware scan (malwarebytes has a free version), also may have had some files corrupted when the power went out, couple things that might help would be to go to the Command Prompt as Administrator and run the command SFC /SCANNOW that will check for corrupt Win files and replace them with good copies, then go back to Command Prompt again as Administrator and run CHKDSK /R which will physically check the hard drive for bad secors and repair or block them as well as movie the data to a good sector

Thanks for the advise.I did the scan and it said that it found corrupt windows files but was unable to fix some of them and as for the hard drive check i did it but no difference.i had run malwarebytes antimalware and i got about 120 malwares, quarantined all of them but still no difference.im really scared if its a hardware problem. stupid lag is killing me

just found out that the lag is connected with cpu usage.when i open a window cpu usage goes from 5% to 25%.While playing games like mortal kombat komplete edition it stays at 100% or 98%

Have you verified, by opening the case and looking inside, that your fans are actually working? What are your CPU and GPU operating temperatures (at idle and under load)?

well to answer ur question cpu tems are around 50C while GPU is around 70C are while playing games. Also many new problems that I found are-
1)While playing any game my cpu cpeed drops from 2992mhz to 1500mhz not only when playing but in idle as well.CPU load is around 50-60% whilst playing
2)apart from cpu even my gpu load drops in all games.Stays at 99% and drops to 83 or 70 and in some bad cases 30 and it never reaches 100% load
)From HWmoniter I found that I have 2 fans one running at around 2700rpm and another fan called FANPWM which is at 0rpm...
and extra info is that my gpu box states that I need 300W power supply but in my psu case the sticker on top says 180W total max something like that....BTW THANKS FOR POSTING

The CPU speed changes are likely a result of throttling itself to prevent damage from overheating. The CPU slows down to generate less heat.

Open the case and look inside while the system is powered on and visually confirm that your fans (all of them) are actually spinning. It sounds like at least one may not be.

It also sounds like your PSU is of poor quality. What make/model is it? That info should be on the label.
