I just received Corsair Air Series AF140 Quiet for top of my case exaust, now is it normal for screws to not even be able to screw in more than 30%. I can basically with a little force slide my fans along top rails. Doesn't make any extra noise at full RPM but still seemed weird.

Anyone have experience with corsair fans?

I have had some corsair fans where this has happened
i have had to use two sets of screws because i have wrecked a few fan screw driver ends screwing them up they are that tight , if you keep tightening them and back them off , tighten back them off you will get them tight , if you are concerned you can drill the fan holes out a little bigger and the screws will go in a lot easier , why corsair make such hard plastic to screw into i do not know but they are good fans. you can also put some rubber grommets or washers between the fan and the roof of your case to take up the slack this will work fine aswell
