People on the other forum tell me there are no proper drivers for Nforce 610m on Windows 8.1. My laptop is Asus X50N from 2007 (610m, Athlon X2, 2 GB RAM). I am still running Windows XP SP3 32-bit and I would like to switch to 8.1, mainly because I have bought a SSD drive.
Si if there are no drivers (can somebody who knows confirm this?) for 8.1, is there an additional solution? I have seen some pages like LaptopVideo2Go.com where they offer some INF files and even drivers packages (?).
I am really not into anything else than XP so I know very little about new Windows. Please, make this clear for me, what can I do with my X50N laptop that I am certainly not going to throw away even if I had to stay od XP running SSD drive.
