Hey guys and gals,

I was looking for some help with this strange issue. I have a Cosmos 2 case and just installed 6 brand new coolermaster jetflo fans wired up with adapters to the cosmos 2 fan controller. I booted up the computer and everything was fine minus the major issue of my main system hard drive no longer being detected. I went back inside the case to see if maybe I accidently disconnected the power or IDE cable while working inside but neither are the problem. I am wondering what the issue could possibly be if anyone has any ideas please let me know. I'm at a complete loss here. Running the computer off of a USB stick with Ubuntu on it at the moment.

Solution
Nah, brand new 1000 watt psu and I figured out what the issue was. Perhaps it'll be a benefit or help to anyone else who might run into this problem. The solution was adding another modular cable to the psu specifically for just the HD and letting the fan controller and all the 10 fans in the case use the other power cable. I'm guessing there was too much power taxing going on for the 1 12v line so adding another cable to the psu and connecting it to the HD by itself seems to have solved the issue. HD is back up and running and all 10 fans going strong.
