Alright, so i just changed my PSU from a really crappy one (5 dollars maybe?) to a Corsair 500w one, a CX 500M, now during the installation the 20+4 pin stuff didn't entirely fit the mobo, it didn't do the "click", however i pressed it with a lot of strength downwards and to the sides with no results....it looked kind of secure though, so i connected everything else and booted, no problems everything looks fine, but my dout is...is it possible that a "badly connected" cable can make the psu perform poorly or the mobo receiveing less power...? just a stupid doubt i had, i will give you some screenshots of heat, voltage and clock levels (my gpu is an HD 7750 XFX, just in case the image doesn't show it)

Stop using that crapware HWMonitor.

If the +12V rail were really putting out only 9.68 Volts your system wouldn't even be functioning because the PSU's Under Voltage Protection circuit would have kicked in turning off the PSU.

Check voltages with a DVM (best) or in the BIOS.

alright i can't check with voltmeter (mainly because i don't have one) but the question itself, can really a pc perform less because a connection is not done 100% good? or is it a "it works/it does not work" thing

Use the MSI Control Center utility since it reports the same values as you would see in the UEFI BIOS Setup. Download it from MSI's website if you have to.

HWMonitor doesn't properly support a lot of motherboards' sensor chips so you will see the wrong voltage values being displayed.

If they aren't connected properly, then it won't work. This is just like anything else electrical. If you pushed hard enough and the connectors are fully inserted, then they won't come out and lose contact. If unsure about voltages, check in the BIOS. It's free and fairly accurate.

oook, so i checked the voltage levels on the MSI software and also checked my CPU with CPU-Z and took a screenshot...they look ok if you ask me .-.

I presume you are less worried? The right tools usually provide accurate results.
