Hi, this is my first post. I'm going to be building a computer for the first time, and I've been researching on Tom's Hardware and got most of my questions answered already.
Okay, for the part of my build I need help with, I'm going to get an FX-6300 for my processor, a Micro-ATX motherboard that supports DDR3 1866(O.C.) RAM sticks, and 2×4GB of DDR3 1866 RAM sticks.
So my question is, will the DDR3 1866MHz RAM sticks work on the motherboard without any overclocking because the FX-6300 already supports up to 1866MHz of RAM?
Thanks.
