hdmi slot against metal case

I have the coolermaster n200 case and when I installed the gpu, all the slots including the hdmi one for my monitor are against a metal part of the case. Will this cause a short in the circuit or damage my parts if I go ahead and use it? Thanks.

I think I have an idea of what your talking about. If the graphics card output headers are resting against the slots on the case. Everything is fine. There should be no power problems. Plus, your case is grounded so.. you should be safe. As Edullo said.. it wouldn't hurt to post a picture just in case but if it's like I'm thinking... you should be fine.

Here, I tried to see if the you could move downwards a little but nope, is it safe for my components to use this plug?

I have only got a hdmi cable with my monitor so Im kinda depending on it to work, have I installed the gpu wrong?

My guess would be the Graphics card has a heavy cooler on it so it makes the card sag a little. But I think you should be fine and its nothing to worry about. Enjoy your new RIG!
