PC will not boot properly. No beep, no video.

Hello. I recently got a new motherboard, so I have just installed it. When I turned on my PC after I had finished mounting all the parts, the fans spun up, LEDs were on, but there was no beep from the speaker, and my screen says "no signal". I have tried putting in the speaker both ways, no sound either way, so something hardware related is wrong I guess, since it isn't beeping.

I have tried both VGA and HDMI, and my motherboard doesn't have onboard graphics. All of the parts are mounted properly, and The CPU, GPU, motherboard and harddrives are all getting power.
I've also tried booting with only one stick of RAM and taking in/out the CMOS battery, same thing happens.
Before you post the checklist with things I should look at, I have read the sticky, everyting on the list should be okay.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

UPDATE: I just noticed that when I hold the powerbutton for a few seconds (which usually turns off the computer) nothing happens. So the PC is definitely not turning on properly, not just a video problem.

Solution

take out your motherboard and keep it on wooden surface, and connect peripherals and components like cpu, single RAM, video card, display, keyboard. Now connect your board with psu connections like, main connectors and 4 or 6 pin atx cpu power connector. Connect...

Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
AMD FX-8350
ASUS GTX 680
16GB DDR3 RAM
750W PSU
One SSD and a HDD

I have tried with both water cooling and the stock fan for the CPU, and I have also tried only booting with the mobo, cpu, one stick of ram and the power supply. Still no beep. No pins bent on the CPU, and I have not used the CPU for a month or two. I really doubt that the CPU is bust, but I guess it is a possibility.

Also, the power supply and the motherboard are both BRAND NEW,

Now connect your board with psu connections like, main connectors and 4 or 6 pin atx cpu power connector. Connect your psu cable and short the power pins. After you have turned on your setup, keep pressing Num Lock and check if your keyboard Num Lock LED light on and off? Now touch your processor(Wear rubber slippers before you do that) and check if has become warm or still cold?
And what is model of your psu?

Shit, sorry... I didn't mean to chose your response as solution, I'm tired...

My PSU model is "CX 750". I have tried breadboarding, and everything you said except touching the CPU and pressing num lock.

what is the result you got? With cpu and Num Lock led.

Just tried, no lights turned on on the keyboard. I tried the blue 3.0 ports, the black normal ports, and the red USB ports. Same thing on all of them, no response. Just after turning it off, I toof off the HSF, and the CPU wasn't very hot. I think it might have gotten power, because it was just slightly over room temp, but it can't have been doing much.

Thanks for the effort so far.

most probably it looks like your motherboard, with no beep and cpu not getting full power and no signal to keyboard with leds. If you got a new motherboard, you might want to RMA your board for it can be DOA. One last test to take would be connect everything like before leaving your GPU out. See if you can get any beep? If no, you are good to RMA your motherboard.

I have already done all of this with and without my GPU several times. Thank you very much for your assistance, I guess I'll have to wait til the easter holidays are over, then return my motherboard.

just an update, almost same problem like yours was seen and it turned that the guy had installed the cpu cooler way too tight from normal. You might want to take a look at your motherboard again and see if you can find anything unusual.

I will have a look, thanks. I doubt it though, I have already tried with both my Corsair water cooling and the AMD stock fan :/

i know you have even tried without the cooler too but still give a closer look for anything suspicious.
