Installing 2 4gb RAM sticks on z87 Pro4

Hi. So the Asrock Z87 Pro 4 has a little chart telling me where to put the memory, but it says Priority 1, Priority 2, and Priority 3 all with different positions. Is priority the number of sticks installed? Please help!

Just install your RAM sticks into slots 1 and 3,
Or 2 and 4 to run them in dual channel mode.'
I installed my RAM sticks into slots 2 and 4 and they run perfectly in dual channel mode.

Edit: I think yes priority is number of the sticks

1-3 from CPU or 2-4 from CPU for dual channel (A1-B1) or (A2-B2)
